Privacy Policy

Last updated: June 24, 2026

Your privacy matters deeply to us. This Privacy Policy explains exactly what information Toolzpedia collects, why we collect it, how we store and protect it, and the rights you have over your personal data. We believe in plain language — if anything is unclear, reach out to us at privacy@toolzpedia.in.

What We Collect

When you register for a Toolzpedia account, we collect your full name, email address, and optionally your phone number. For team plan members who are invited by an account owner, we collect the email address and name provided in the invitation. We do not require government-issued identification unless specifically mandated by law for certain account types. We also store the device identifier and basic browser/OS information associated with active sessions to support security monitoring and fraud prevention.

For billing purposes, we collect and store payment gateway reference IDs generated by Cashfree Payments and Binance Pay when you complete a transaction. These are alphanumeric identifiers (e.g., order IDs, transaction hashes) that allow us to verify payment status and handle support queries. We explicitly do not collect, store, or log raw card numbers, CVV codes, bank account details, or cryptocurrency wallet keys — all sensitive financial data is handled exclusively by our payment partners on their secure infrastructure.

We automatically collect usage logs when you interact with the platform. This includes which tools you access, session start and end times, approximate request counts, IP addresses (stored in a truncated format to preserve anonymity), and error logs generated during your sessions. These logs are used to diagnose technical issues, enforce fair use limits, improve platform performance, and generate anonymized aggregate analytics. We do not link granular usage logs to personally identifiable advertising profiles.

How We Use It

Your personal information is used first and foremost to deliver the Toolzpedia service to you. This includes creating and managing your account, provisioning tool access based on your subscription plan, processing payments and renewals, and providing customer support. Without this core data, we cannot operate the service or verify your identity in support interactions.

We use billing data, including payment reference IDs and subscription history, for financial reconciliation, invoice generation, and fraud detection. In the event of a disputed transaction or a chargeback, we share relevant order metadata (reference IDs, timestamps, subscription plan details) with our payment processors to resolve the dispute. We may also analyze billing patterns to detect and prevent subscription sharing or fraudulent use of the platform.

We send you transactional communications — such as welcome emails, payment receipts, subscription renewal reminders, and security alerts — using the email address you provided. We may also send you product updates, feature announcements, and occasional promotional offers if you opt in. You can unsubscribe from non-transactional emails at any time via the link in any such email, or by updating your notification preferences in your account settings. We do not sell your email address or contact information to any third party.

Data Storage & Security

All Toolzpedia user data is stored on servers physically located within India, in compliance with applicable data localization requirements. Our primary datastore is a MySQL relational database hosted on a private, firewalled server cluster. Database access is restricted to a minimal set of application services using role-based access controls; no external network access to the database layer is permitted. Regular automated backups are performed and stored in an encrypted, geographically separate location.

Sensitive data at rest — including session tokens, API keys, and any cached tool outputs linked to your account — is encrypted using AES-256 encryption. Encryption keys are managed using a dedicated key management service and are rotated on a scheduled basis. Passwords are never stored in plaintext; they are hashed using bcrypt with a per-user salt before being written to the database. Toolzpedia staff cannot read your password and will never ask for it.

All data in transit between your browser or application and our servers is encrypted using TLS 1.2 or higher. We use HSTS (HTTP Strict Transport Security) to prevent downgrade attacks. We conduct periodic internal security reviews and are committed to patching known vulnerabilities promptly. In the event of a data breach that materially affects your personal information, we will notify affected users within 72 hours of discovery, in accordance with applicable data protection regulations.

04

Cookies & Tracking

Toolzpedia uses a minimal approach to browser-side storage. After you log in, your JSON Web Token (JWT) — which serves as your session authentication credential — is stored in your browser's localStorage. This allows you to remain logged in across browser tabs and sessions without requiring repeated logins. JWTs are cryptographically signed and have a defined expiry; they do not contain your password and cannot be used by anyone who does not also possess our server-side signing secret.

We do not place third-party advertising tracker cookies on our platform. We do not integrate with Google Ads, Facebook Pixel, or similar advertising networks. We may use a small number of strictly necessary first-party cookies for features such as CSRF protection and user preference storage (e.g., theme selection). These cookies are essential to the operation of the platform and cannot be disabled without impairing functionality. We do not use cookies to build behavioral advertising profiles or to track you across other websites.

For platform analytics, we rely exclusively on our own server-side logging and an optional, privacy-first analytics solution (if implemented) that does not fingerprint users or share data with third-party data brokers. We may track aggregate, anonymized metrics such as total active users, feature popularity, and geographic distribution of traffic to inform product decisions. This data cannot be linked to any individual user without significant additional effort and is not shared outside of Toolzpedia's internal team.

Third-Party Services

To process payments, we integrate with Cashfree Payments for INR transactions and Binance Pay for cryptocurrency (USDT) payments. When you initiate a payment, you are redirected to or interact with the secure interfaces provided by these third parties. Any financial information you provide during the payment process is governed by their respective privacy policies, not ours. We strongly encourage you to review Cashfree's Privacy Policy and Binance's Privacy Policy to understand how they handle your payment data.

Some of the AI tools and productivity utilities accessible through Toolzpedia are powered by or connect to third-party APIs and services (e.g., AI model providers, cloud OCR engines, translation services). When you use such tools, your inputs — the text, files, or queries you provide — may be transmitted to these third-party services for processing. We select partners who comply with robust data processing standards, but their handling of your data is governed by their own privacy policies. We recommend reviewing the privacy disclosures for specific tools in their individual tool information pages within the platform.

We do not sell, trade, rent, or otherwise monetize your personal data to any third party, including data brokers, advertisers, or analytics companies. The only circumstances in which we share your personal information with external parties are: (a) with payment processors strictly to facilitate transactions, (b) with trusted service providers who process data on our behalf under strict confidentiality agreements, and (c) when required by law, court order, or government authority in a legally compliant manner.
